Bio

My name is Rachel Coleman, I have always loved art. It's my quiet place when the world gets to crazy. I have always had a passion for art. I would love to go to SCAD Univarsity, that would be my dream. It cost alot so maybe I could get a scholarship. I want to have a career in art. I have always thought, if you do something you love you'll never work a day in your life.

Day 3

First w had to measure and find our proportions for objects in out still life. We took a med. size bruse and measured out things using that.
later on in the day we got to block in and firm the lines on some objects.
then we put lots of new colors and paints on our pallett
Finally we added a little color we used a gery blue to block in our cup and we applied the same to the background. The drapes were a purplish color. we also taked about opposites of the color wheel is how to dull colors.  If we dontlike it were doing great.

First day

1. Gesso the canvas lightly. Note: putting it n thicker takes longer to dry

2. We made a view finder which lets us know about where t put things on the canvas.
3. We put a little burnt siena onto our palette and using mineral spirits we toned our canvases. getting rid of tall the white

4. Using view finder we were to make marks of the positions where the objects were to set up for our still life.

5. Then we loosely blocked in the figures of the still life and they looked like abstract pieces.
6.we could erase places we messed up , using burnt siena

7. We mostly worked on the books and the canister.
